The Universal SEND Services (USS) programme is delivered by nasen through the Whole School SEND consortium and is one of a number of programmes that are funded by the Department for Education to improve the experiences of and outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
Whilst our offer is predominantly aimed at supporting the continuing professional development of educational professionals and enabling the cultural / leadership shift towards inclusive practice, we also recognise parents and carers as key stakeholders and a number of our resources - such as our Ask, Listen, Do leaflets - are aimed at helping to develop successful partnerships between families and education settings.
nasen is proud to be working on a project with funding from the Thomas Pocklington Trust to develop a hub of resources and produce two webinars to enable practitioners to be more confident and know the best practice out there to support young people with vision impairment (VI) in post-16 schools, training providers and Further Education colleges.

Our SEND Associate Framework (SAF) offers a bespoke special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) consultancy service to all education settings on an individual, targeted, and whole school level. We also provide SEND consultancy and support services to Local authorities with a cost effective, high quality and specialist service to support providers of statutory services and SEND needs.
