This webinar will focus on the use of Solution Circles within the school context as a structured way of helping staff to discuss issues as a group and generate possible solutions. Consideration will be given to the potential benefits of the strategy in supporting pupil and staff well-being. The theory of Solution Circles will be discussed, a case study presented and consideration given to wider application of the strategy. This webinar is suitable for any teachers and support staff working in special and mainstream schools where pupils’ emotional regulation and behaviour is of concern.

Lucy Ball

Lucy Ball is a Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist at Merton Local Authority. For the past 5 years, Lucy has been the link Educational Psychologist for Perseid School. Through this role, Lucy has worked closely with key members of the Emotional Well-being Team at Perseid to consider how psychology can be best applied to bring about positive outcomes for the well-being of children and young people within the school. Lucy has a Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology from University College London (UCL).
