Training Needs Assessment – Abu Dhabi

UAE called upon nasen to conduct a short, deep-dive training needs assessment of the country’s SEND provision, conducted through literature and data scoping, surveys, focus groups, interviews and school observations. The resulting analysis offered a clear direction for strategic development at all levels within the education system.

The findings influenced change on both a strategic and policy level, supporting the UAE’s Vision 2021, and forming part of the evidence-base for the progression of  special educational policy in the country.
