This webinar will explore support for children entering mainstream school.  The session will cover early identification of need, processes for positive support and inclusive strategies to ensure that needs are met as children prepare for transition and move through Key Stage 1.

The webinar will aim to give practitioners and SENDCOs in Foundation and Key Stage 1 the confidence to:

  1. Understand early child development

  2. Identify when a child may have additional needs

  1. Provide support for children with additional needs in Foundation and Key Stage 1

By the end of this webinar we hope that SENDCOs, Foundation and Key Stage One staff in Primary Schools will be better able to identify and meet the needs of children as they enter school and move through Key Stage 1.
