Whole School SEND has sponsored a collaboration with nasen, Nottingham Trent University, and Nottingham Institute of Education, who have put together a booklet of SENCo research posters. The booklet includes examples from the ‘nasen live 2019’ display of the small-scale action research projects carried out by SENCOs and aspiring SENCOs for their National Award for SEN Co-ordination coursework. These are all aimed to improve the support they provided and increase attainment for students with SEND in their schools.
We hope that you enjoy reading about how small-scale research can make a real difference for young people with SEND and that these provide you with ideas of ways in which to collect evidence about the impact of interventions and further develop school practice.
