In the seventh, annual nasen Awards, 16 schools, individuals and organisations were recognised for their outstanding work to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and learning differences to reach their full potential. The inspiring nasen ceremony, held at the Grand Hotel Birmingham on Friday (6th October 2023), was supported by official media sponsors, tes.

This year, we have 18 categories up for grabs!
You may notice some new ones to last year, as we’ve taken some time to refresh the criteria and make sure that they better reflect the SEND landscape right now.

Our awards celebrate excellence in SEND education, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our sponsors. Sponsoring an award is a unique opportunity to showcase your commitment to inclusion, gain visibility among key decision-makers, and connect with a passionate community driving positive change.

This year nasen Awards will take place on 4th October 2-24 at the Grand Hotel Birmingham.
Every year, nasen receives an overwhelming amount of nominations from people putting forward organisations and individuals who champion those within the SEND sector and deserve.
