Pre-SEND Review Webinar
A pre-SEND Review webinar was held on 7th March with the Minister for Children and Families, Will Quince. The event was jointly hosted by Special Needs Jungle, National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF), Contact, Family Fund and the Department for Education (DfE). The webinar opened with a brief presentation from the minister and then the floor was opened for questions from parents and carers. During his opening he did confirm that the SEND Review would be published later this month and that it will be a full and open consultation. He was very forthcoming in answering the questions put to him and we await to see the impact of these in the SEND Review Green Paper.
