National Deaf Children’s Society release surveys

The NDCS have released a survey for deaf young people to share their views about their school experience. There are over 50,000 deaf young people across the UK and the NDCS are aiming to increase support and inclusivity for them across education.

The survey begins with a video created by The Youth Advisory board of the NDCS. It highlights the reasons that they want to hear the lived experience of education in the UK for deaf young people.

There is also a survey for education professionals to provide information for the NDCS to create a teacher training module to showcase and support good deaf awareness in the classroom.
