nasen staff to speak at Schools & Academies Exhibition

Multiple members of nasen and Whole Schools SEND staff will be joining C.E.O. Annamarie Hassall at the 10th annual Schools & Academies Show next week.

The event is being held at the Birmingham NEC on the 17th and 18th November 2021, this is their first live show since 2019. As the UK’s largest education policy event, the show is promising speakers from some of the biggest names in education, 50+ hours of CPD tailored show content, live debates, workshops, seminars, case-studies, and more.

nasen are proud to announce that alongside Annamarie, Alison Willett – Education Director for nasen, Alex Grady – Head of Whole School SEND, and Heba Al Jayoosi – SEND Regional Leader for Whole School SEND will be welcomed as speakers to the event on November 18th to discuss their sectors of expertise. 
Registration to the event is completely free for educational provisions within the public sector. CPD points can also be gained throughout the 2-day event when sessions are attended. 

Details of our staff sessions are below:   

  • Annamarie will be speaking on November 18th from 10:20am – 10:50am, 
  • Alison Willett – November 18th – 2:10pm – 2:40pm, session title: 'Requires Improvement: Mainstream SEND Provision in the UK'
  • Alex Grady / Heba Al-Jayoosi – November 18th – 11:05am – 11:50am, session title: 'Real and Positive Outcomes of the Whole School Approach in SEND'
