Free practitioner training to support deaf children in Early Years settings
The National Deaf Children’s Society is holding a series of four sessions entitled ‘A Bright Start for Every Deaf Child’ to provide practitioners with the understanding and tools to support deaf children in Early Years settings. The free sessions will cover the topics:
- Welcoming deaf children into your setting
- Language and Communication
- Social and Emotional development
- Parent Partnerships
There will also be support to plan how you can apply your new skills for individual children in your setting.
The sessions are held via Zoom on four consecutive weeks starting Wednesday 15th June at 6-7:15pm.
