Call for evidence on use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in Education

The Department for Education has launched a consultation on the use of generative AI tools in education settings in England. The call is for evidence on the potential risks and benefits of using tools such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, Claude and Midjourney, within education. Although AI is not new, the access to these tools by the wider public mean that they are more available and easier to use. The Department for Education has published its position on the potential of AI in education and they are now keen to hear the views of those in the sector.

The call for evidence closes on 23rd August.
