Anti-Bullying Week 14-18th November
Anti-bullying week takes place from 14th to 18th November with the theme ‘Reach Out’. Organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) the week begins with Odd Socks Day, held in partnership with CBBC star Andy Day and his band, Andy and the Odd Socks. The ABA have produced a set of resources to be used for Odd Socks Day and primary and secondary resource packs for the ‘Reach Out’ theme. ABA have published a report on the impact that anti-bullying week has had since its inception in 2002. The report highlights the figures around bullying and looks at the positive impact the week has in raising awareness across schools and the wider community.
