Creating a socially safe environment - Primary
- Online
- 30 Nov 2022 (16:00 - 17:00)
This hour-long live online networking session explores how you can create a socially safe environment for all learners in a primary setting. It provides an opportunity for delegates to network with colleagues from across the country, to share experiences and learn from others. One of our regional leads will facilitate the session and participants will be encouraged to ask questions and join in pertinent discussions.
Content will be responsive to the questions and conversations of participants but may cover the following themes:
- The importance of social inclusion for learners with SEND in mainstream schools and the impact for learners who are socially isolated or excluded from elements of the curriculum, and
- Ways to create a socially safe environment and to develop and support friendships between learners in your setting.
These sessions build on our online SEND CPD units.
NB: Due to the interactive nature of these sessions, recordings will not be made available after the event, so book now as places are limited!
